Had a bit of a long lie this morning, really needed it, but I couldn't lie all day, because we had plans. I decided, while I am still in my muffin mood to made some double chocolate muffins. They would surely set us up for the day!
I got the recipe over at
Little Bird Eats . A lovely chocolate pick-me-up! I tried one tonight, heated up with a little custard, boy oh boy, that was even better! Yum!
You've got me drooling over those muffins!
ReplyDeleteI could easily wolf down a couple of those muffins on a Sunday morning or any morning for that matter! Chocolate for breakfast...so decadent!!
ReplyDeleteLucky Graham! Those muffins look delicious - nothing like chocolate to start the day! And end it as far as I'm concerned, but of course with a glass of red wine!
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy, Hey, just reach in!
ReplyDeleteHello Val, It was a bit!
Hi Deb, Dark, dark chocolate with wine, mmmmm!
There's another vegan restaurant which has just opened up in Glasgow - someplace called "stereo". :)
ReplyDeleteWe'll be coming up to St. Andrews in a couple of weeks - t/w the 27th & 28th. May see you then?
Hi David, Sounds good! Are you staying over in St Andrews? If you are the Tuesday night would be better!
ReplyDeleteI think Stereo is another reatuarant with a record shop! Did you notice the record shop in Mono's?
ReplyDeleteI am going to be the size of a house reading all these delicious blogs!
ReplyDeleteThose look fabulous. What else are Sundays for, other than wonderful, chocolatey treats? :-)
ReplyDeleteWill have to look up Stereo in Glasgow some time. Sounds interesting - maybe run by the same people as Mono?
Those look really chocolaty...mmm...
ReplyDeleteStereo is by different people than mono, certainly, and it's centered around a vegan bakery. They do offer cow's milk with coffee, though. They're targeting a different crowd than mono: ordinary people rather than vegans. It's kind of a stealth vegan thing.
ReplyDeleteYep - we'll be up there in a couple of weeks. We'll be there for M/T nights, probably. I'll email when we nail down the dates.
Stereo used to be up on Kelvin Haugh Street, but has relocated nearer the city centre. As far as i'm aware though Momo, Stereo and The Thirteenth Note are all owned by the same group.
ReplyDeleteI love that first photo in the mixing bowl... it's a cool shot! :)
ReplyDeleteWow those look like some awesome muffins. I don't know about breakfast - they might be dessert.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recipe
