Bottlegreen Strikes Pose for Charity!

I was very pleased when Bottlegreen sent me a large bottle of their limited edition Pomegranate & Elderflower Sparkling Pressé to try.

I am already a great fan of their range of cordials, which are all rather glorious, especially the Elderflower Cordial, which I love and the Spiced Berry, which is a nice non-alcoholic winter tipple.

This new range is extra special because it has been developed as part of the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Campaign, which to date, has raised over £11.5m for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

There are 3 flavours to sample; elderflower, pomegranate & elderflower and ginger & lemongrass.

All of the bottles feature beautifully designed jackets and for each bottle sold, a 10% donation goes to the charity, with a further 25p donated if you their facebook page.

It's not hard work either. The Pomegranate & Elderflower Sparkling Pressé is the perfect summer drink and looks beautiful when poured. It is the most delicate peach colour with a little fizz.

It's great for handing out to friends who are driving and can't enjoy a glass of chilled wine. It's has a slight sweetness, but is also slightly tart. Very refreshing to drink and the elderflower isn't overpowering for those of you who find it a bit strong. The elderflower is more a background note. Just lovely!

These special edition 750ml bottles are RRP £2.40 from Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, Budgens and Booths, but if you aren't lucky enough to be able to purchase a bottle, then please do their facebook page
