Mother's Day is Coming

Mother's Day is coming and as a relatively new mummy, Hotel Chocolat rewarded me with a box of chocolates. The H-Box dropped onto my doorstep and there wasn't a hope in hell that they would last until mother's day.

They are reasonably priced at £12 and will bring a smile to any mother's face. Have a look at all the Mother's Day temptations here. And what is in the scrumptious box, I hear you ask? Cast your eyes over this little lot.

Cherry Bombe
Zingy cherry puree truffles in creamy white chocolate
Bison Grass Vodka
Iconic Polish vodka with subtle herby notes in mellow milk chocolate truffles.
Mother of Pearl
Our stunning Oyster shell filled with smooth hazelnut praline.
Caramel Sweetheart
Caramel milk chocolate with a hint of morello cherry and a tiny pinch of salt
Champagne Truffle
Our uplifting milk chocolate and cream truffle with an elegant splash of champagne.
Blackcurrant Truffle
Creamy truffle just bursting with natural blackcurrant fruitness.
Vanilla Truffle
Super soft white chocolate truffles with lots of mellow vanilla.
Raspberry Rapture
Creamy white chocolate truffle with lots of tangy, tongue tingling raspberry.
Strawberry & Black Pepper
Light strawberry truffle and a pinch of black pepper to bring out the sweetness and subtle spiciness.
Bucks Fizz
A light and creamy truffle with a splash of champagne and a dash of zesty orange juice.
Soft Chilli Caramels
Meltingly soft caramel giving way to a mouth-warming chilli kick.
A Kiss for Mother's Day
Melt-in-the-mouth, silky soft milk ganache encased in a pair of milk chocolate lips.

Need I say more?

(Disclosure: Hotel Chocolat sent me a box of chocolates to review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.)

  3. I was given some of the Bison Gass vodka ones recently, love them.

Apparently there are a number of Poles working in the Hotel Choc factory, and they bought in a bottle of it and suggested making a truffle with it. Love that companies are small enough to listen to and take on staff suggestions.

I am a huge HC fan, great quality good chocolates, readily avaiable that introduce people to what proper chocolate should taste like.
