Blog Business Cards
My new business cards have arrived. This is my second batch. The first set of business cards I bought from MOO a few years ago. They were the cutest mini cards and I haven't by any stretch of the imagination used them all or even most of them, but it is time for a change. I want more information on my cards now, so I decided to order some full size business cards.
The gods of luck were obviously shining down on me and Dan from MOO got in touch asking if I would like some business cards. Why yes, I would Dan!

I am really pleased with my cards. They are of such good quality and the images and text are lovely and sharp. I think I made the right choice in choosing the rounded corners on the cards. A bit more modern and interesting looking than a traditional business card. The cards come with a plastic container, but you can buy a variety of different card holders. I decided on this rather swish red wallet.
Here are a few prices to give you an idea of what you get for your money:

They look marvellous.
ReplyDeleteWill you shout at me if I ask whether that's a typo in the last web link, to claMdestinecakeclub?
Oh no!!! Now I am going to cry!!!!
DeleteAaw sorry, I didn't want to make you cry. x
DeleteI felt like it, I can tell you! Now I am going to feel foolish every time I hand one over and have to explain. *sigh*
DeletePS I've just ordered a new set for my newly redesigned blog, from Vistaprint, though the colour isn't right, am liaising with their customer service now to see if can resolve.
ReplyDeleteIf Dan from MOO wants any other bloggers to try their cards, do point him in my direction! ;-)
x
Will do Kavey :)
Delete*envy envy envy*
ReplyDeleteIsn't MOO lovely??
I have friends who do cookbooks who use the minicards, and they're a fabulous idea. I really should do something like this for myself, only book oriented, but I... can't imagine myself handing them out; I'd hoard them all because they're so pretty! I did make MOO postcards - those were fun, and a great way to send off holiday photos to folks at home.
Great idea with the postcards Tanita. You should make some cards to advertise your author status :)
DeleteThe cards look great and I now have a craving for pancakes with syrup.
ReplyDeleteI liked the mini cards that you also had - very cute.
Will pass on the details for MOO to a friend who is looking for business card.
This was good timing it seems Claire :)
DeleteI love moo.com, I used them for the first time recently to make some stickers as part of a birthday present I made for my boyfriend - and it was very appropriate as his last name is Cowe! Can you choose the pictures that you put on the back of your business cards? If so that's a really good idea, I might have to look into getting some!
ReplyDeleteYes, you can have lots of different images that you upload yourself. That is what is so neat about it :)
DeleteThese really are beautiful, and I love how you can have loads of different pictures on the backs. I got some cards from Moo recently and REALLY wanted the rounded edges but just couldn't justify the tiny extra cost, so I am very jealous now!
ReplyDeleteAwww, well if it makes you feel any better I have a typo in my cards. Just call me 'twit' :D
DeleteOooooo very jealous! I doooo love these! Xxxxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Mother Hen :)
Deletethey are fab! please point them to me too!!! My cards are SO boring!
ReplyDeleteThey are rather swish aren't they :)
DeleteThey look great - I much prefer full size to fiddly little ones. Need to get my own updated though I'll be employing my husband as ever!
ReplyDeleteYour husband is worth his wait in gold Sarah :)
DeleteThey look fabulous Jac. V. professional!
ReplyDeleteThanks Janice :)
DeleteOh they are fantastic and so cute. If only I had some cash to make some too. Its a great way to promote your blog.
ReplyDeleteI know, I am glad I got a voucher, although I made a typo, did you spot it?
DeleteJac, those cards look fabulous and quite professional. Love the pictures on the back. Wish I'd put my twitter name on mine now!
ReplyDeleteYeah, well that is a new thing for me too, but thought it might be handy :)
DeleteAww, that is too bad about the typo, but the cards do look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDan has been really kind and promised me another 100 for free to replace the ones with the typo. Now that is the sign of a good company :)
