Chocolate by Genevie - a Giveaway

I have the pleasure of introducing you to a new online chocolate shop with a more personal touch.

Chocolate by Genevie is a family run business specialising in boxes of Handmade Luxury Chocolates.

I asked Genevie to tell us a bit about herself and her business.

"I live in Edinburgh and have just opened the online chocolate shop this month. All of the chocs are handmade using the best ingredients I can find and all of the boxes are hand finished with silk and ribbon - no two boxes of chocolates are exactly the same and this is just how I want it to be.

Chocolate making started off initially as a hobby but as more requests for delicious chocolates increased I thought I would try and open an online shop.

My partner Kevin, my Mum and 1 year old son Luke help me with various parts of the production. Mum does the ribbons & boxes, Kevin made the website and updates this and little Luke likes to taste the chocolate! It's a very small family venture that keeps us busy.

My plan is to offer handmade gift chocolates that are yummy and unique - I want to offer something that is markedly different to the other bigger corporate brands that are currently out there.

So i’m not sure where my chocolate venture will end up but as long as people keep requesting chocolate – i’ll keep making it!"

My favourite has to be the Dark Chocolate Orange Praline.

Update:

Since starting the business, there has been such a high demand, that Genevie has had to take the decision to out-source to a company in Belguim, who now makes their chocolates.
