Sandwich of the Month and Cookery Course

This month for No Croutons Required I asked for some imaginative sandwiches and that is exactly what I got.

Unfortunately the voting poll let me down and reset set itself each night, so I had to think of another way of finding a winner. This was when I turned to one of our coolest cafes in town. Jessie's Kitchen.

Ross from Jessie's Kitchen very kindly took over voting duties and he was very impressed.

"Ok, I've deliberated, cogitated and digested (well, maybe not digested unfortunately!) and my findings are thus.....

Really, really loved the look and sound of the French Breakfast and the Smashed Chickpea entries. Also very tempted by the Cheesy Leeks and the simple but delicious sounding Cauli mayo one, I wish I'd thought of something so simple and tasty!

But I think my fave has to be........ the Butternut Squash Tacos, they look and sound stunning."

So the winner of this month's No Croutons Required is:

Congratulations Kellie, your entry was exceptional. Your winner's badge is winging it's way to you now.

Thanks to Ross from Jessie's Kitchen for choosing our winner.

......and now on to the winner of my Cookery Course/Class Competition.

I used the random number generator to chose my number. Unfortuately, I forgot to take a copy of it to show you, so you will just have to trust me. No. 22 and here is her cookery story.

Congratulations Kavey and thank you to everyone else who took part.

For next month's challenge, head over to Lisa's Kitchen.

  1. Thanks Jac and Ross! I am honoured and will look out the badge (I'm really rubbish at adding things to my blog though!). Yay!
