I went downstairs, to have a break, I was catching up on my mail and there was Graham making himself a snack of hovis bicuits with soft cheese. I had an eureka moment, although, I will be the first to admit, not much of one! I thought, my summer fruit jam would be lovely on top of those digestive biscuits and cream cheese. Voila, instant mini cheesecakes!
I only managed two!
Oh that looks delicious, I'm going to have that tomorrow!
ReplyDeletea little bit of decadence in the afternoon, Hellojed!
ReplyDeleteThat's *pure* genius :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Shawnda! It was good!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE those little Hovis biscuits. It sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, The cream cheese really brought out the fruity flavour of the jam.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I try to not have cream cheese in my fridge all the time as is is so easy to make tasty treats like these with it. It dissapears quite quickly.
ReplyDeleteYou are a wise man Kevin! We usually have a tub of the low-fat version, to spread on bagels. But, you are right, it would be better not to have it at all!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen those little biscuits before. They're really cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, They are just like little McVities Digestives! Lovely with cheese!
ReplyDeleteHi Holler! I have never heard of those biscuits...are they like graham crackers? I just love those - just open the fridge door and make something recipes! Sometimes they turn out better than the planned ones!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Deb, sometimes leftovers make the best meals!
ReplyDeleteI have heard about Graham Crackers quite a lot, but don't know what they are.
These biscuits are made from oatmeal and wheat. They are yummy!
