The Chameleon in question is a little friend that Graham made in Cyprus. He is so cute, that I have to show you some photos!

lol, those are awesome photos! I don't think I've ever seen chameleons outside of a zoo...
ReplyDeleteoh v cute but shouldn't it turn the same colour as graham's skin to camouflague (or I am just stuck in some chameleon fantasy that has nothing to do with reality?)
ReplyDeleteI am with Mike and never seen a chameleon. They are really quite cute in a reptile kind of way. Great photos too by the way...love the eyes:D
ReplyDeleteHi Mike,I missed it, but the photos are great, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteHi Johanna, Graham said it changed colour a lot. When it was outside it was lime green, then in the house it turned dark green and then brown. Finally when it went back out it turned light green and then white.
Hey Val, I agree, it is very cute. It was very timid and walked very slow, like it was dipping it's toes in water to test the temperature and that was every step!
Okay, now I *want* one of those.
ReplyDeleteOddly, I haven't seen a pet store in the UK. You guys have those here, right? Not that a chameleon would be happy in the UK, but...
I have to chuckle. G. looks rather bare in those photos. We had temps in the 40's in the U.S., too -- it's very energy draining and we're glad to get back to fog and cardigans!
Cute in a photo, but I think you'd hear me shrieking all the way to Cyprus if I ever encountered one in person!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Aren't they fabulous little guys?
ReplyDeleteHi tadmack, I think they may be illegal to buy now in the UK. It is a bit cruel to keep them as a pet, really. But they are so, so cute.
ReplyDeleteI am ready for some cooler air when I get home, but not the rain!
Aww Ricki, you are a wuss! They are gentle creatures.
Hi Davimack, I think graham fell in love with this wee guy!

ReplyDeletethat little guy is so cute.
ReplyDeleteWow that is so cool! I love his little feet..
ReplyDeleteMuch cuteness!
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't want to hear me sing either. Although my duet with VeggieKate of 'Wuthering Heights' by Kate Bush is quite special. 'Heeeeeathcleeeeeef! It's meeeeeeee a Caattheeeee!'...
Great photos... but I'll have to pass. Chameleons and me - never in the same room!
ReplyDeleteAdorable indeed! What an amazing encounter!
ReplyDeleteHe (or she) is just adorable! I just love those buggy eyes! What an honor it must have been to have this little guy walking on you (or Graham in this case).
ReplyDeleteCool! Chameleons are awesome.
ReplyDeleteHe is, isn't he Parker!
ReplyDeleteHi Helen, Graham said you could barely feel him moving across you.
Do you and Kate throw your hair about when you are singing Wuthering Heights, Jen? I want the full picture!
Why Spaghetti? He is just so lovely!
Cool huh, Pia?
Hey Jenn, The eyes are actually like little cones and move independently, which is odd!
Hey Wheeler, *wave*
I love those photos!! I used to have quite a few of these as pets when I lived in Kenya. They are super fun!
ReplyDeleteHi Fiber, they are seriously cool creatures!
