For my first review, I was sent a kettle and toaster from the Colour Boutique range. The Colour Boutique is a selection of kettles and toasters in a wide range of colours to match and brighten up your kitchen. I picked the vibrant orange. A rather splendid colour and it matches one of my Le Creuset, that stay on top of my cooker. Let's face it Le Creuset are too darn heavy to be lugging in and out of the cupboard, that is if I actually had room in the cupboard which I don't. So I matched my new kettle and toaster to my Le Creuset.
I also had to make a bit of room, as my kitchen is so tiny, but it was well worth it. My new kettle and toaster really look the part.

As to the functionality, both are working well as you would expect.
1.5 litre capacity
For 8 cups
3kw Concealed rapid boil element
For fast boiling
360 cordless base
For left or right handed use
Removable limescale filter
This limescale filter will stop scale getting into your drink, ensuring you can enjoy your hot drink without any bits
The Toaster has been a revelation to me. You can toast 4 slices of toast or teacakes at once. Hurray! No more queuing at the toaster. Such a simple function, but one, I never thought I had room for before. Just brilliant! I know many of you will have a four way toaster and know what a difference it makes, but me, I am just learning. It also has plenty of settings, so you will get your toasted bits and pieces browned to perfection and you can toast from frozen. Here are the specifications:
Hi Lift facility
To remove smaller items from your toaster such as crumpets etc. you can use this lift on the lever to safely remove these.
Variable browning control
Allows you to set the browning of your toast so you can have your toast just the way you like it.
Removable crumb tray
To keep your toaster clean and tidy, the crumb tray can be removed to clean.
The Kettle and Toaster both retail at £59.99 and both have a two year guarantee.
For readers of Tinned Tomatoes, I have a 35% discount code to use on the range. A brilliant deal, don't you think? I do like the idea of matching them to the Le Creuset.
ReplyDeleteI love my red toaster and kettle. Really brighten up the kitchen!
They are really great. I could have gone for green which is the colour of my bigger le creuset which happened to be in the dishwasher when I took the photo :)
DeleteThose are so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam, I am pleased with them :)
DeleteNow I NEED an orange set instead of the red set I have already Jac, to match MY Le Creuset too! LOVE the colour! I LOVE my kettle and toaster set however and the toaster is BRILLIANT! Karen
ReplyDeleteI am obviously starting a new trend then, hehe :)
DeleteBet your red set looks great too.
Lovely...very stylish.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think so :)
DeleteLovely colour - kitchen ware should always be available in lovely vibrant colours - it cheers one up!
ReplyDeleteYou are right CC, It really does cheer you and the kitchen up :)
DeleteYour kitchen is adorable. I have that exact Le Creucet pot too.
ReplyDeleteI love Le Creuset, they are fabulous to cook in and thanks for the nice comment on my kitchen.
DeleteI have the same Le Creuset pot too - it was my grandmother's! It looks fabulous alongside your new toaster and kettle. x
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it. It is nice to know that pots last that long :)
DeleteThey look good and you sound so pleased with them!
ReplyDeleteI really am, well once I knew I could fit them in. I love a spot of colour around me.
DeleteThat toaster is just fab, so pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteI know, I love it :)
DeleteBeautiful products, I've never heard of that brand, I'll have to keep a lookout for them! I really like the toaster and the fact that it matches your Le Creuset . . . hmm, I wonder if they planned that!
ReplyDeleteWell I got to choose, I could have picked the green set to go with my other Le Creuset. All the colours were fab!
DeleteI love my yellow set;) They really do liven up the kitchen. Rather like the orange one you've chosen...I have an ancient set of orange cruesets too!
ReplyDeleteI stole your idea of taking a photo of them in situ Fiona. Your yellow set looks great, as does your kitchen :)

ReplyDeleteOooh....my Lovely Hubby would love these he has a 'thing' about the colour orange and would like everything in our lives to be this zingy shade, I'm more of a 'green' girl myself, so there's a few mild mannered arguments when it comes to replacing applicances.
ReplyDeleteSue xx
Oh marital strife over colours, tsk, tsk. My parents fell out over the consistency of custard once, it was very amusing! I love green too, but couldn't resist the orange :)
DeleteLove the bright orange colour Jacqueline.
ReplyDeleteIt gorgeous isn't it :)
DeleteGORGEOUS!! I do love orange so much, and I think I'm also slightly envious of your Le Creuset, although glad I am not schlepping it just now. In two more weeks, I will be planning the bits and bobs for MY new kitchen and I cannot wait...!!!
ReplyDeleteThat will be such fun Tanita :)
DeleteI love their stuff, it's so funky and cool looking. It looks wonderful in your sweet kitchen :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma :)
